Tualatin, OR has been recognized as a Tree City by the National Arbor Day Foundation for its commitment to planting and maintaining trees on public property. The Heritage Tree Program is used to facilitate the protection and planting of trees. Each year, up to five trees chosen based on their size, quality, species or historic value are selected for Heritage Tree status, and are added to Tualatin’s list of Heritage Trees. A map of these trees is available from the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce.

The Artwalk is a self guided tour of Tualatin’s public art. There are four loops with interconnected trails, with distances varying from one third to one mile long. Map kiosks and interpretive signs assist visitors in experiencing and interpreting the many different kinds of art represented on the Artwalk. The features range from sculptures to murals to a mastodon skeleton. It’s a fun and informative way to see public art.

For recreation and entertainment there is Golf and a driving range, swimming, boating, fishing, the Tualatin Commons Lake, Promenade, Tualatin River, city parks, nature trails, skate park, and library. The Tualatin Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual Crawfish Festival in August each year. Concerts are held on Friday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the lake at Tualatin Commons during July and August each year. Search the MLS
